At Gray's, we love bringing people together.  The community is so important to us and we have spent the last 6 years holding events and workshops that allow people to meet new people and learn new skills.  From this week, we will be hosting fortnightly Crafty Social sessions.  3.30-7.30pm.  Booking required so we can manage numbers, but there is no charge, just come along with you craft of choice and enjoy. We will be serving drinks and cakes for you to purchase on the night.

Gray's has become a popular place for parents and babies to visit, often being the first trip out for new parents.  We offer a warm and welcoming space to relax, feed your babies and meet with friends to catch up.  However, we know how difficult it can be to meet other parents, so we are looking to run Parent & Baby Meet ups in our private room upstairs, to give people the chance to meet old and new friends and share in the joys and challenges of parenting.  

Groups are open to parents/carers of babies up to 9 months (or until mobile!).  

Places can be booked on our website shop. and are generally held fortnightly on Wednesdays 11-1pm.  Your ticket price includes bottomless tea and coffee, a sandwich, crisps and some cake bites.  Please make us aware of any dietary requirements when booking.  

Space for prams is very limited, so if you are able to bring a car seat, carriers or baby slings etc. we would be very grateful.

You guys went crazy for our Valentine's boxes last year, so we’ve decided to offer them again for you this year. We’ll be offering sweet boxes and savoury boxes again.
 

We will be offering collection on either Friday 13th or Saturday 14th February. Collection will be from 12pm on both days and we close at 3pm, so please be sure you are free to collect between those times on your chosen collection date before ordering.

It is £15 per person for the sweet box, and £18 per person for the savoury. We can do these as either single or double boxes (for 2 people) so if you’re wanting multiple boxes, please let us know whether you’d like them as singles or doubles.

If you’d like to order please send us a message with your name, phone number, how many you’d like (and whether you want a single or double box) and also preferred collection date. We will require full payment upon booking, we will send a payment link to the mobile number that you provide us with😁

January is often the time to clear out, reset and start afresh, so with that in mind, we have decided to run a Clothes Swish next month. 

w/c 2nd February, bring along your £10 ticket money (cash please), any good quality items you no longer use/wear, including clothes, handbags, shoes and jewellery (please see rules for exclusions). For each item you bring, you will receive a Swish Token/Chip, which you can then use to get other items on the night of the Swish. 

You will receive a drink on arrival and there will be some sweet treats too. You will also be given a raffle ticket as part of your ticket price, to win some fab Gray’s prizes.

We hope this will be a real feel good evening - we’re covering sustainability, social wellbeing, charitable donations and retail therapy, at very little cost.

So why not start having a look through your wardrobe, get ready to bring the items down in a couple of weeks and get the date in your diary.

The first of what we hope is going to be a monthly event.   

This is the perfect opportunity to spend some quality time with friends or family, or come alone and meet some new people. At the same time, let us look after your food and drink requirements. No tidying up, no cooking and something to keep the kids happy? What more could you want? 

We will have a great selection of games, or you can even bring your own. 

 The first date is Sunday 8th March and the afternoon will run from 1 - 5pm. We are opening tables up for booking, so we can manage numbers, but walk ins will be welcome too, space permitting.  

We haven’t finalised the food menu yet, but we are thinking, roast meat sarnies, loaded roast potatoes and lots more Sunday comfort foods. (Veggie/vegan options will be available - but please make us aware of any dietary requirements when you book).

Spring Wreath Making Workshop hosted at Gray's, with the fabulous Andrea from Flower Power in Rothwell. You will receive everything you need to make a beautiful Spring Wreath, along with a drink and sweet treat.  The workshop will last around 2-2/12 hours.

This workshop makes the perfect gift or just a few hours to enjoy some me-time or time with friends.  

Please note, that we require a minimum of 6 people to run this workshop.  In the event that we don't reach that amount, we will have to cancel or move to another date.

The workshops can be booked on our wesbsite shop and are non-refundable, as all materials have to be ordered in advance.  If you are able to move to another date, we will of course try and accomodate where we can.
